𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐭, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓.

𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐭, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓.

The National Assembly has passed a bill titled National Commission for Minorities Rights Act, 2025, which is a very comprehensive piece of legislation which provides for the protection and promotion of minorities rights in Pakistan. A commission is to be formed under this bill which will receive and proceed with complaints regarding violation of  minorities rights. This commission has also been empowered to take suo moto action and even become a party to any case in which any sort of violation or question of minorities rights is involved before any court.

There is a provision for setting up a council as well which will exercise all such powers and functions which are assigned to it by the commission.  Due representation has been given to the minorities in the commission as well as in the council.

The is just a bill passed by the National Assembly.
