Bilal Akbar Laghari

Advocate High Court

I have been actively practicing law for almost 10 years now. I realized pretty early on that there most Pakistani lawyers lack  specialization. You will often see one lawyer trying to do every kind of work ranging from litigation to corporate registrations and transactions; as a result, he is unable to excel at any of these, despite working long hours. That is why, over the past few years, I have been focusing on corporate registrations, IP registration and conveyancing-related tasks. I have been blessed with a vast network of clients in these field and have built a reputation for success which is second to none.

I decided to join forces with Law and Policy Chambers because this is a unique firm whose business model is based on specialization and synergies. I am able to focus on a select few areas of work and yet build a flourishing practice.

My principal areas of expertise are:

i) Corporate Registration and compliance,

Over the years, I have advised hundreds of startup businesses about organizational structure. I have handled the registration of partnerships before the Registrar of Firms, incorporation of companies with the SECP, filing of annual returns and generally compliance with corporate law. I have also helped many NGOs get registration.

ii) Intellectual Property registrations;

I regularly handle matters related to registration of trademarks and copyrights before Intellectual Property Office.

iii) Property Transfer and Conveyancing

I have extensive experience of  property transfer and conveyancing matters. I have helped a number of clients get Sale Deeds registered with the sub-Registrar, ICT as well as done a number of CDA property transfers.
