With over 10 years of experience in law, he has worked on high-profile cases such as the Reko Diq mines case, which highlighted the need for specialized legal expertise in Pakistan, particularly in natural resources law, international arbitration, and investment law. To address this, he pursued two LLMs-one in Oil, Gas, and Mining Law from Nottingham Law School and another in International Financial Law from King’s College London. In 2018, he established independent practice focusing on civil and corporate commercial matters, advising clients on anti-dumping cases, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, and construction law. Mr. Durrani also serve as an Independent Director on the boards of Saindak Metals (Pvt.) Limited and Oil and Gas Development Company Limited.
