The parliament has amended The Price Control and Prevention of Profiteering and Hoarding Act, 1977, and has provided a right to appeal by inserting a new section, section 6A, after section 6 of the Act. The appeal will lie to a committee constituted for this purpose by the competent authority. The composition of the committee is given in the amendment act.
