The Lawyers Welfare and Protection Act, 2023, is targeted to ensure that the lawyers execute their legal responsibilities free of undue influence and duress. An act of violence against a lawyer has been made none-bailable offence through this Act and specific procedure as to how commence trail thereto has also been incorporated. It also provides for welfare package to the lawyers such as health facilities, financial Facilities and shuhada Package.
