The Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has made significant rules called, the Shariah Governance Regulations, 2023. These rules are aimed to provide for how to conduct, administer and regulate the companies whose main business or purpose is to offer Islamic Financial Services as their main business activity.
These is a prerequisite of obtaining Sharia Compliant Certificate for a company who wishes to engage in Islamic finance.
