Abdul Rafay Siddiqui is an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan and holds a BA-LLB (Hons.) degree from the Lahore University of Management Sciences. Prior to joining Law & Policy Chambers, Abdul Rafay gained valuable experience in contentious and non-contentious matters such as arbitrations, project financing and regulatory compliance.

At Law & Policy Chambers, Abdul Rafay provided excellent advisory work to a wide range of clients on various facets of law such as anti-money laundering, competition law, procurement law and real-estate matters. Clients advised included prominent regulatory bodies, prominent development sector organizations and start-ups. All thoroughly acknowledged Abdul Rafay’s ability to provide quality and timely advisory work.

Moreover, Abdul Rafay effectively represented clients before various judicial fora in Islamabad. Some of his achievements include:

  • Successfully represented a client before the Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA). Moreover, he was part of the legal team which filed a writ petition before the Islamabad High Court and obtained relief pursuant to which the IHRA was made functional and operational again.
  • Obtained relief for the Pakistan Engineering Council in “Afnan Farid v FOP” (WP 1764/2021) before the Islamabad High Court.
  • Represented a leading pharmaceutical company in preliminary hearings before the Intellectual Property Tribunal (Islamabad) in a case concerning infringement of trademark and copyrights.
  • Assisted the Islamabad High Court on various occasions as part of Commissions, which were led by Mr. Umer Gilani.

After Law & Policy Chambers, Abdul Rafay joined a start-up company as its Legal Counsel where he deals with matters concerning intellectual property law, various corporate and regulatory compliances and foreign investment compliances.
