A Bill was introduced in order to protect the rights of the regularized civil servants and employees in the National Assembly which was referred to the concerned Standing Committee. The Committee also approved the draft of the bill and recommended to place it before the National Assembly for making it Act of the parliament.
In short words, this Bill regularizes those Civil Servants and Employees who are on contract basis or daily wages and they have been recommended by the Sub-Committee of the Federal Cabinet. The Bill states that their seniority for the purpose of promotion will be reckoned from the date of initial appointment. This law will be applicable to all Civil Servants and Employees from Grad 1 to above.
