The Parliament has passed a new act called the Inter-Boards Coordination Commission Act, 2023, which replaces the previous Inter Board Committee of Chairman. The main functions of this Board include attesting and verifying certificates and ensuring the authentication of equivalence up to the higher secondary level throughout the country. With the enactment of the new Act, the Inter-Boards Committee of Chairman has been reconstituted and restructured. The new Board is also entrusted with the responsibility of promoting both curricular and co-curricular activities among the member boards.
