After analyzing and taking into consideration laws on the concept of sedition from other jurisdictions, Lahore High Court has struck down section 124-A being not in consonance with fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution. We cannot define freedom of speech as freedom to say what is welcome to authority. This is precisely what section 124-A seeks to achieve.”
