The Parliament has significantly amended the Official Secrets Act, 1923, by enacting The Official Secrets (Amendment) Act, 2023. It has added certain offences to the act and provided for different mechanism for investigation of the offences. This act is concerned with Inter Service Intelligence and Intelligence Bureau only: the two primary spay agencies of the country.
